Three Years Ago…

Three Years Ago…
Three years ago, my only sibling passed from cervical cancer just days before I was turned 18. It was a very dark time. I was thinking “How can I live my life to the fullest?”. So I sat out to fulfill my dream of being an actor, writer, producer and director. Only problem was I couldn’t find work. It’s either you don’t fit the role because you talk funny or the character isn’t disabled. So I did what I had to do. I took content I created and put myself in it. For the past three years, you guys have been packing out shows, buying my book and just spreading the word and I thank you.We never know how long we have. My sister told me before she died “You’re going to be very special and inspire millions!” and each time I find myself beating myself up I think about her. So thank you! Thank you for not only supporting me and my dreams, but thank you for fulfilling my sister’s prayers for me.With that said I have a new show coming in October. Anita had her life all planned out. But when her best friend Lisa suffers a traumatic loss, it forces Lisa, her daughter, her cousin Kenny and crazy brother Max to move all under Anita’s roof. Just when everything becomes calm, Anita finds the man of her dreams. It’s all cool until Lisa finds out who the man is. My question to you: best friends share everything… but can they share a man? Find out in my new hysterical hit stage play Prince E. Mayes-Sullivan’s “My Best Friend’s Man”. Coming to the Northwest Activities Center October 14th-15th. Tickets available at My Kreative Kollection on the corner of 6 mile and Evergreen or at WWW.PRINCEINKENTERTAINMENT.COM.
